Visiting Choirs/Concert Program

Concerts

Choral and instrumental groups are invited to perform concerts at St. Joseph Church.

Visiting ensembles should be accomplished church, school, college, or community groups. A movable upright piano is available on the nave floor. St. Joseph staff are happy to post concerts on church Web site, social media and The Weekly Bulletin in the weeks leading up to the concert. All other advertising will be the responsibility of the performing group.

Singing at Holy Mass

Guest choirs are welcome to perform an Offertory and Communion anthem as part of our 8 AM or 12:15PM Sunday liturgies.

Guidelines

1. Please submit application six months before requested date.

2. All music performed must be sacred or approved St. Joseph Church music director and Monsignor Harris.

3. St. Joseph Church is not responsible for property loss or damage of ensemble equipment.

4. Reception space available but there are fees associated with the use of this space.

5. Liability insurance or signed waiver required by Diocese of Charleston for all visiting groups.
